Indulgent Mango Cream Oatmeal

Looking to get your breakfast prep done ahead of the work or school week in 10 minutes? How can you do this? Cook a batch of oatmeal, chill it and top with fresh fruit, nuts, and a bit of sweetener. If you don't like the same breakfast each day, all you have do do is top each container you prepare with different fruit, nuts, or spices.


Bring a pot of water to boil while making your Sunday breakfast and cook off some oatmeal and chill it into individual meal prep containers. Once this is cooled off, simply top it off and save it for reheating during the week. The heavy cream helps provide depth and a rich flavor which helps keep you feeling full longer. That's what eating both fiber and fat together do for your body. Feeling like making this dish even more delicious? Garnish it with shredded coconut, 1 tbsp nuts of 1 tbsp nut butter.


Servings: 4

  • 1-1⁄2 cups Rolled Oats

  • 1-1⁄2 cups Frozen Mango Chunks

  • 1⁄4 cup Light Brown Sugar

  • 3 cups Water

  • 3 tablespoons Heavy Whipping Cream

  1. Bring water and oats to boil in a saucepan until cooked, about 3-4 minutes.

  2. Remove from heat and divide into 4 container if using as meal prep.

  3. Top with 3/8 cup diced mango, 1 tbsp brown sugar, and 2 tsp heavy cream and enjoy immediately or place in fridge to reheat throughout the week.
